索匯指示(payment instruction)

　　索匯指示也稱索償指示，是議付行對開證行(償付行)怎樣交款的指示。對方應當照該指示辦理。選用恰當的索匯指示可以避免迂迴索償，並能從時間上和空間上相對縮短議付行與國外業務發生間的賬戶距離以達到及時索償的目的。

　　不論採用的是電索還是信索，信用證方式下的索償行都應向對方銀行發出索匯指示。索匯指示中索匯路線的設定除了考慮信用證中開證行的特殊指示以及結算幣種外，還需考慮銀行間的賬戶設置情況。

　　(一)當索償行或其總行在對方銀行設有賬戶時，索匯指示通常為：

　　Please Credit our a/c OF our H．0．a/c with you under your advice to US．

　　(二)當對方銀行在索償行或其總行有賬戶時，索償指示通常為：

　　Please authorize us to debit your account with US or our Head office．

　　(三)當索償行與付款銀行無直接的賬戶關係，但都在某一代理行設有賬戶時，索匯指示常常為：

　　Please authorize XX bank to debit your a/c and credit our a/c with them under their advice to US．

　　(四)當雙方銀行沒有直接的賬戶關係時，索匯行有的通過在對方的代理行，有的通過海外聯行，有的則通過總行在國外的代理行劃轉款項。這不僅取決於各銀行國外代理行以及聯行的設置情況，也取決於各行總行業務管理的需要。假定索匯行為中國銀行天津分行，

　　1．如當時結算幣種為港幣且在香港有代理行時，則索償指示為：

　　Please pay the proceeds to the American Bank，HK Branch for credit of our a/c no．with them under their advice to US．

　　2．如結算幣種為美元且在紐約設有海外聯行時，則索償指示為：

　　Please remit proceeds by SWIFY/Telex quoting our ref．And a/c no．to Bank of China，New York for credit of Oill"a/c with them under your advice to us，and kindly request them to advise US by authenticated SWIFT/Telex．

　　3．如結算幣種為歐元且通過總行的代理行時，則索償指示為：

　　Please pay proceeds to Deutsche Bank Franfurt for credit of Bank of China H．O．a/c no．in favour of US quoting our ref．no．under your advice to us．

　　(五)通過美元清算系統劃轉款項

　　由於世界經濟活動中大多數的交易都採用美元計價、結算，因此銀行在進行美元索匯時，除了可以利用各銀行在美國當地開立的聯行或者代理行的賬戶直接收賬外(如上述第三種情況)，還可以考慮通過美元清算系統劃轉款項。如：

　　Please pay the proceeds to Citi Bank，New York by CHIPS ABA no．for credit ofOur a/c UID no．under their advice to US．

　　Please pay the proceeds to the Chase Manhattan Bank，New York by Fedwire for creditof OUF a/c no．with them under their advice to us．
