安森保險Anthem, Inc.(NYSE:ANTM)創立於1944年，前身是WellPoint, Inc.,(NYSE:WLP)於2014年12月剛剛更改為現用名，全職雇員51,500人，是美國較大健康、醫療保險公司，截止2014年12月31日，公司有大約3750萬保戶。
Anem公司通過廣泛的綜合保健計劃和相關服務，以及各種專業產品，如人壽保險和殘疾保險福利、牙科、視力、行為健康福利服務，以及長期保健保險和靈活支出賬戶，提供了一系列領先的健康福利解決方案。
作為美國大型醫保企業，擁有超過8000萬名客戶的Anthem，在改名前曾經叫做WellPoint，位於印第安納波利斯，公司在2012年還進行了幾筆頗為引人矚目的收購——首先是在6月份收購眼鏡公司1-800-CONTACTS，12月份又收購了保健公司Amerigroup。
2015年7月24日表示，安森保險Anthem宣佈收購信諾集團，這一價值542億美元的交易將創造出美國較大的醫療保險公司。而就在三周前，而這也是美國奧巴馬政府推進醫療改革方案後出現的行業整合的一部分。
2019年7月22日，《財富》世界500強排行榜發佈，Anthem公司位列79位[1]。
