2014年《金融时报》全球MBA排名概述

　　1月27日，英国《金融时报》公布了2014年全球MBA排行。哈佛商学院击败所有竞争对手，继续蝉联去年失而复得的冠军宝座。这是自1999年英国《金融时报》编制该榜单以来哈佛第五次夺冠。斯坦福大学商学院仍然屈居亚军，伦敦商学院则超过宾夕法尼亚大学沃顿商学院，升至季军位置，后者排名第四。哥伦比亚商学院和欧洲工商管理学院并列第五。

　　2014年英国《金融时报》全球MBA排行榜基于对各商学院及其2010年毕业校友的两项调查。MBA课程根据校友的职业发展、学院创意成果和师生多样性进行评估。

　　哈佛商学院在创意成果方面遥遥领先，在研究领域位居第一，博士课程位居次席。该学院的校友在毕业3年后的平均薪资位居第二（仅次于斯坦福），薪资涨幅超过平均水平。哈佛商学院在校友职业发展方面也位居前列，其MBA课程最受其他院校毕业生的大力推荐。

　　哈佛商学院校友称赞，为期两年的课程使自己获得了“变革性经历”。他们还特别重视哈佛品牌以及校友网络的实力。一位哈佛毕业生指出：“哈佛带来了一个最为可靠的惊人网络。”谈到缺点，另一位毕业生希望哈佛的MBA课程不要那么以美国为中心。

　　排名上升最快的商学院之一是耶鲁管理学院，该学院的排名上升4位，排名第10。这是7年来该学院首次进入10强。其他表现强劲的是弗吉尼亚大学达顿商学院，上升8位，排名第27位；北卡罗莱纳大学克南-弗拉格勒学院上升12位，排名第32位。明尼苏达大学卡尔森商学院回到第54位，新上榜商学院中排名最高的是位于班加罗尔的印度管理学院，排名第68位^[1]。

　　马萨诸塞州的波士顿证实了其作为全球教育之都的地位，该市有6所商学院进入英国《金融时报》MBA百强排行榜，包括哈佛大学（排名第一）和麻省理工斯隆商学院。其他4所上榜商学院为霍特国际商学院、波士顿学院的卡罗尔管理学院、百森商学院的奥林商学院以及波士顿大学管理学院。

　　这些MBA学员有什么典型特点呢？在5年前开始攻读MBA的学生中，多数（85%）为年薪6.4万美元的专业人士。四分之三介于25岁至30岁之间。女性占三分之一，海外学员占一半。攻读MBA的主要动机是增加收入。培养管理技能排在第二位，扩宽关系网排在第三。

　　在接受调查的校友中，近一半（48%）没有获得资金支持，平均学费为10万美元。这还没有算上全日制学习期间放弃的收入。有一半（49%）获得了奖学金或赞助费，仅负担三分之一的费用：3.3万美元。

　　毕业3年后，这些校友的平均年龄为33岁，一般担任高级经理或更高职位，年薪达12.7万美元，这是攻读MBA之前收入的两倍。更重要的是，有90%的受访者认为，他们在职业发展的这个阶段实现了主要梦想^[2]。

　　Although the headline ranking figures show the changes in the survey year to year, the pattern of clustering among the schools is also significant. A total of 195 points separate the top school from the school at number 100 in the ranking. The top 12 schools, from Harvard Business School to IMD, form the leading group of world-class business schools and are separated by 80 points. The second group is topped by IE Business School, which scored 60 points more than Nanyang Business School, leader of the third group. The fourth group, which includes schools ranked from 84th to 100th, is headed by McGill University: Desautels.
