Golden Triangle (UK universities)
The University of Cambridge in the city of Cambridge and the University of Oxford in the city of Oxford form two corners of the triangle. The third geographic point is the city of London, represented by Imperial College London and three colleges of the University of London: University College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and King's College London. (Imperial College London, previously a college of the federal University of London, gained independence from the university on 8 July 2007.)
