弗兰克·哈恩(Frank Horace Hahn)是英国著名的一般均衡理论学家。剑桥大学经济学教授,丘吉尔学院研究员。他拥有几个其他大学的荣誉学位,是英国学院的研究员,美国国家科学院的成员。
弗兰克·哈恩于1925年出生于德国柏林,其父是德国一位颇具声望的学者和作家,1931年,哈恩举家迁往捷克,四年后,又随家迁往英国,第二次世界大战爆发后,哈恩中断学业,参加空军。战争结束后,他进入伦敦经济学院学习。1945和1950年先后在伦敦经济学院获理学士学位和博士学位。1960年转到剑桥大学,任《经济研究评论》主编(1963—1967年)。1968年当选计量经济学会会长,1986年参加英国皇家经济学会,而且是美国艺术与科学研究院的通讯院士。
哈恩深入研究了一般均衡的稳定性、惟一性,考察了多个市场竞争均衡的卖者喊价、非卖者喊价过程的稳定性条件,他在1971年与阿罗合著《竞争均衡分析》,该书是一般均衡领域的经典之作。哈恩在一般均衡框架内纳入货币方面也作出了重大贡献,他在序列经济(在离散时间中的一般均衡模型)中研究了货币的价值,并将交易费用引入一般均衡的分析;他研究了推测均衡,即个人行为影响经济环境的不完全竞争下的均衡问题,哈恩还对新古典增长理论作出了重大贡献。

Frank Horace Hahn (born 1925) is a British economist whose work has focussed on general equilibrium theory, monetary theory, Keynesian economics and monetarism. A famous problem of economic theory, whether it is possible for money to have a positive value in a general equilibrium, is called “Hahn's Problem” after him.
