安森保险Anthem, Inc.(NYSE:ANTM)创立于1944年，前身是WellPoint, Inc.,(NYSE:WLP)于2014年12月刚刚更改为现用名，全职雇员51,500人，是美国较大健康、医疗保险公司，截止2014年12月31日，公司有大约3750万保户。
Anem公司通过广泛的综合保健计划和相关服务，以及各种专业产品，如人寿保险和残疾保险福利、牙科、视力、行为健康福利服务，以及长期保健保险和灵活支出账户，提供了一系列领先的健康福利解决方案。
作为美国大型医保企业，拥有超过8000万名客户的Anthem，在改名前曾经叫做WellPoint，位于印第安纳波利斯，公司在2012年还进行了几笔颇为引人瞩目的收购——首先是在6月份收购眼镜公司1-800-CONTACTS，12月份又收购了保健公司Amerigroup。
2015年7月24日表示，安森保险Anthem宣布收购信诺集团，这一价值542亿美元的交易将创造出美国较大的医疗保险公司。而就在三周前，而这也是美国奥巴马政府推进医疗改革方案后出现的行业整合的一部分。
2019年7月22日，《财富》世界500强排行榜发布，Anthem公司位列79位[1]。
